George and his team recently catered for a beautiful wedding set in Chenies Manor, a historic landmark with extensive gardens, tucked away in Buckinghamshire. George's Kitchen spent 10 months working with the couple to ensure all of their ideas and requirements were captured and it also included a trial back in July so they could narrow down their choices for the menu.
On the day guests were first treated to a drinks and canape reception in the manor which included some of George's renowned hickory smoked salmon. This was followed by a main course of slow cooked beef cheek, trio of celeriac, calvolo nero and a homemade cranberry sauce. The food journey continued into the evening and George's team served guests a potato bap filled with smoked thick cut bacon and George's homemade mushroom ketchup. Vegetarians enjoyed porter welsh rarebit. Both were perfect late night snacks!
